Motor City Pagans

Motor City Pagans is a Detroit based, all-path Pagan fellowship organization created in 2004 to help foster communication and cooperation between Pagan and Heathen organizations in the greater metro Detroit area and to expand the awareness of individual Pagans, Heathens, Wiccans, Druids, witches, occultists and other magical and spiritual traditionalists of those services available to them in the greater metro Detroit area. 

We are a non-denominational, non-religious organization working within a spiritual framework to provide support to Pagan organizations, businesses, events and individuals and our membership is open to and services available to all branches of Wicca including eclectic Wicca and Wiccan offshoots, Hellenic Paganism, Celtic-based Pagan paths including Reconstructionism, Reclaiming and other Goddess traditions, Heathenry and various Norse traditions, Druidry, Santeria, Umbanda, Voodoo and various Afro-American traditions as well as those who practice various non-religous and magico-religious traditions such as Kaballah, Hermeticism, the Golden Dawn and other occult orders and various witchcraft traditions that may or may not be associated with Pagan or Heathen paths but maintain a Pagan-friendly attitude.

In 2009 we created the Pagan Michigan social network and the Pagan Michigan Directory in order to expand these services to the entire Pagan community of Michigan. We hope that you will make use of them as well.

The mission of Motor City Pagans is to support the efforts of Pagan groups and organizations in the metro Detroit area and to provide a forum for connection, fellowship and expression for individuals, groups and businesses in the Pagan, Heathen and occult communities of the greater metro Detroit area.

We seek to be a neutral entity in a world of often conflicting Pagan, Heathen and occult paths and organizations providing non-biased reporting of all news and events regardless of our personal feelings about them and hope to be a catalyst for cooperation among the many divergent groups in the metro Detroit area.

We realize this mission through providing an online forum for discussion, dissemination of local news and posting of event announcements as well as sponsoring and hosting events that allow various local Pagans, Heathens and occultists to interact and learn about the organizations, businesses and other resources available to them in the greater metro Detroit area. 

We regularly sponsor Detroit Pagan Pride Day, and ConVocation and we host  the Michigan Mayfest as well as our monthly Pagan Family Circle gatherings to provide the opportunity for in-person interaction of the metro Detroit Pagan community in all seasons and in a variety of locations throughout the greater metro Detroit area.

We are willing and able to offer marketing, graphic and volunteer services to any large scale event that is open to the Pagan, Heathen and magical community at large in the greater metro Detroit area and we provide sponsorships through donations by our members and fundraisers throughout the year.
